I still boot up the original Sims (with all of the expansion packs) every once and a while.

I loved the original, but I could never get into any of the proceeding ones.

I don’t know. They felt less like games and more like...well...simulations. As odd of a complaint as that sounds for a game called The Sims.

Plus Makin’ Magic is the best expansion pack there ever was. I loved getting those little gnomes drunk on wine.
